Need a ride?
If you live in Albany County and are 60 or over our Transportation Services can take you to and from ANY business in the county; including our Senior Centers and our Adult Day Care facility, the grocery store, a restaurant, the movies, to a loved one's home, even to your hair dresser!



Schedules

Senior Commuter Service:
Service to and from ANY business in the Capital District including our Senior Centers and Adult Day Care facility
Monday-Friday: 9:00-3:00

Medical Express:
Service to any medically-related appointment within the City of Albany, including pharmacies.
Monday-Friday:
9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, 2:30, 3:00 and 3:30 LAST CALL for pick up is 3:30 p.m. for return trips.

Grocery Shopping:
Service to any supermarket in the City of Albany
Monday-Friday: 9:00-3:00

Center Shuttle:
After Dinner Service from Louise Corning Center to your home. For pick-ups call 518.434.4219.
1st Trip at 6:00 p.m., 2nd Trip at 7:00 p.m.



Reservations

Call 1.866.208.7357 (toll free) for all reservations or cancellations. When your appointment is completed and you are ready for pick-up, call SSA's Transportation Department directly at 518.434.4219 to arrange the return trip.

Transportation is available to any Senior Group (up to 12 people) in the Albany area for trips to shopping malls, restaurants or special events within a 60-mile radius of Albany. Most trips are booked between 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

For transportation to any of our senior centers, call the transportation department at 518.434.4219. Please indicate whether you will need wheelchair assistance when making reservations.
