This day-long exposition is the largest and most widely recognized trade show for older adults in the Capital Region; featuring exhibitors who cater to the 60+ population and their families from life, health and long term care insurance, housing, home health services, home repairs and modifications, city and governmental services, trips and recreation, finances, volunteerism, and much more. Health screenings, health-related activities, and entertainment will highlight the event.

2014 23rd Annual Capital Region Senior Expo:
The annual Capital Region Senior Expo was held on Friday, October 24 at Crossgates Mall. We were excited to welcome more than 1,500 seniors and a record number of vendors.
2014 was an year at the Expo. We were able to host the Albany Guardian Society, who played the first two episodes of the WMHT series AgeWise, as well as our sponsors CDPHP and Price Chopper. Seniors were able to receive free flu shots at the Price Chopper booth as well as vital information from their pharmacy staff.
New to the schedule in 2014 were educational workshops hosted by a number of vendors including

“Balance & Fall Prevention Hands-on Workshop” presented by Choice Connections
“Do You Qualify for Prescription Assistance?: EPIC & Medicare Guidelines Explained” presented by NYS EPIC Outreach
Senior Services was proud to feature a Meals on Wheels Food Tasting. Some favorite entrees and sides were served, including pulled pork sliders and mac and cheese bites.
