Announcing the 2010 Winners!
Senior Services of Albany is proud to announce the winners of the 15th Annual 3rd Age Achievement Awards. These eight individuals were selected because of their ongoing commitments to our communities and residents, and their ability to impact and enhance the lives of others.
Third Age Achievement awards recognize current and ongoing achievements and aim to dispel the myth that getting older means slowing down. “It is important to call attention to the activities, successes, and community service of people over 60,” said Executive Director Jane Schramm. “By paying tribute to their ongoing initiatives, we can demonstrate to others that they too can remain vital and active as they age,” she explained.
Please join us as we honor this impressive and deserving slate of winners!
